Spring Creative Writing Workshop in May

This year marks a full decade of teaching various writing workshops at Midlands Tech here in Columbia. This fine personal milestone will be added to my bio from here to the far, dusty corners of my internet author presence.

The pedagogue discourses on matters literary.

Wry, winking humor aside, I take enormous satisfaction in teaching the workshop—nothing fills me with a zesty sense of purpose more than helping emerging writers find the path. Your next chance to define that path for yourself begins May 1.

And if you’re asking why-you, pal, here’s what I’m offering: after publishing or writing award-winning fiction, a regular newspaper column, academic essays, advertising copy, advertorials, industrial scripts, feature length screenplays, successful grant applications, blogging and starting my own indie press, trust me: I can assist with a wide range of writing-related issues. There’s the sell.

Bottom line: If you live in the Columbia, SC area and seek a nurturing, low-pressure writing coach, click through to sign up with MTC. During my six-week course I’ll describe the various tools, mindsets and disciplines necessary to achieve anyone’s book-length writing dreams. As far as higher ed tuition goes, $119 is a steal.

Classes are held on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm at the scenic and sparkling technological hub known as the Northeast Campus. Join me. It’ll be fun.
